Information you send us
When you submit the inquiry form we receive the details you enter: name, company, email address, country, phone or WhatsApp number, product, quantity and your message. We also record the page you sent the inquiry from and the time it was submitted. If you email or message us directly, we receive the content of that message and your contact details.
We use this information only to answer your inquiry, prepare quotations and technical proposals, and follow up on the products you asked about. We do not sell it.
Analytics
Website analytics are off by default. If you choose to allow analytics in “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of every page, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. Google may set cookies and process this data as described in the Google privacy policy. Advertising and ad personalisation signals are always disabled. Your choice is saved in your browser for 180 days, and you can turn analytics off again at any time from the same control.
Technical data
Like most websites, our web server records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time. This is used to keep the site secure and working and is not used to identify you.
Where information is stored and who can see it
Inquiries are stored in the website database on servers operated by our hosting provider in the United States and are copied into our internal inquiry management system so our sales and engineering staff in China can respond. By sending an inquiry you understand that it will be processed in these countries. Access is limited to staff who handle inquiries. We may share the details needed to fulfil your request with logistics or service partners when you place an order, and we disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer if they become part of an order or contract that we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@seriesmotionindustry.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children
